I found out something very interesting from my husband - since I started on Keto, I've stopped snoring. I'm a big snorer. I am so loud, my husband convinced me to see if I have sleep apnea. Thankfully, it was determined that I do not have it but he has a hard time sleeping beside me sometimes. It was significantly worse while I was pregnant and my husband devised interesting ways to get me to stop snoring at the time. But now I don't snore. Honestly, I find it very odd. It isn't the weight that is determining if I snore - I've snored while skinny and while big. I don't even understand the science behind it but I did find out, I'm not alone. Many people have talked about how Keto positively impacted their snoring.
If you're on the fence about starting this diet, maybe this is one more positive aspect for you to consider. I'm happy that I don't snore anymore but that alone probably wouldn't have caused me to try it. It is all of the other aspects of it - losing weight, enjoying the food I eat, feeling better and getting sick less often - that have impressed me and encouraged me to keep going, even when I want that piece of cake.
